God’s Intention In Creating Man

The Magnificent God
Psalm 145:3 and 147:4-9

The God who created the heavens with over an estimated 200 billion trillion stars and possibly the same number of planets in a space of 95 billion light years, with each light year being 5.88 trillion miles, is the only God worthy of worship.

This God, who also demonstrates His infinite wisdom, power, and knowledge through all that we see, had a plan from the very beginning for His creation. Just like we do as human beings. We have a plan for the things we create or build, having been created in His image. So this God who created us in His image and likeness and also created this world, without doubt, also had a plan for all of His creation.

What Is God’s Plan?
Psalm 8; Ephesians 2:7; Philippians 3:21

God planned to share His glory with those He created in His image.

They would be eternal like Him and benefit from all the riches of His glory: His peace that passes all understanding; His faith that can move mountains; His unfathomable riches which surpass knowledge; His power which is exceedingly abundantly above and beyond all that we can ask or think; His unspeakable joy; His wisdom and knowledge which are unsearchable; His eternal life; and His ability to share this life with others.

He is the God who wants to share all that He has with each one of us.

However, God did not create us to be isolated as human beings but to enjoy and comprehend the length, height, breadth, and depth of His love and all His blessings together so that we are filled with all His fullness. God is after a people—a family who will enjoy His blessings together.

But to live together enjoying God’s blessing in its fullness, we must live in harmony.

Living in harmony requires righteousness, where each person does good to his neighbor and is not selfish with the blessings they have received from God, the Source of all blessings. This was God’s original plan which still has not changed.

God’s Plan Has Not Changed
Titus 3:8; 2 Peter 3:13; Ephesians 4:12-16

Through His people, this family of God, and Body of Christ, God desires to demonstrate and represent His intentions to the world.

That is why both on a personal and national level, we not only share with the poor but advocate on their behalf; this is why justice is a big issue for the church, and we challenge racism and systemic racism; this is why we seek to lead people in the ways of righteousness so that each person does what is right to his neighbor, their spouse, their children, co-workers or their boss and vice versa.

We seek to have and prayerfully support godly leaders of nations to influence righteousness and how they treat other nations. However, as believers, we must strive for these things to be true as we represent God’s intentions in the world since we have been given this responsibility…. they’ll know we are Christians by our love for one another.

And as we do this, we are representing God’s kingdom in the world and pointing to the day when God Himself will bring this about through the Kingdom and Government of Jesus Christ, of which it is written, “….of the increase of His government and peace, there will be no end…” (Isaiah 9:7); where only righteousness will exist. When people will experience the exceeding riches of His grace, where there will be no more crying or pain, no more death, where persons from every tribe, tongue, peoples, and nation will live in harmony, where even nature will be affected, and the lion will lie down with the lamb.
